PROJECT FIT

Prototypes, Small Batches & Repeat Production

We manufacture custom components for business and engineering projects. Projects can start with CAD files, drawings, an existing component or an initial concept. We review the requirements and recommend a suitable manufacturing approach.

01

Industrial Prototypes

Functional and visual carbon fiber parts for development, testing and validation.

02

Small Production Batches

Custom components for specialist products and limited production runs.

03

Repeat Production

Recurring batches manufactured using defined tooling, lay-up, curing and inspection processes.

Project suitability depends on part geometry, technical requirements, tooling investment and expected quantity. Single industrial prototypes are considered as part of a development project.

MANUFACTURING PROCESS

From Tooling to Finished Carbon Fiber Parts

We plan the tooling and manufacturing process together, based on your component geometry, technical requirements and production quantity.

01

Design Review & Mold Manufacturing

We review your geometry, surface requirements and expected quantities before selecting a tooling approach. Project-specific composite or aluminum molds are manufactured to suit the component and production process.

  • Geometry and manufacturability review
  • Tooling concept and production planning
  • Composite or aluminum mold manufacturing

02

Prepreg Lay-Up & Autoclave Curing

Prepreg is cut and laid according to the specified laminate and fiber orientations. The lay-up is vacuum bagged and cured under controlled autoclave temperature and pressure.

  • Defined laminate specification and fiber orientations
  • Vacuum bagging and process monitoring

Autoclave internal dimensions: Ø2,000 × 3,000 mm

03

Trimming, Assembly & Inspection

After curing, parts are trimmed and drilled as required. Inserts, brackets and bonded assemblies can be integrated before inspection against the agreed project requirements.

  • CNC trimming where appropriate
  • Bonding and integration of inserts or brackets
  • Visual, dimensional and fit inspection as specified for the project

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Questions About Your Project

Project requirements, tooling, production quantities and confidentiality.

CAD files and technical drawings are ideal. You can also start with reference images, scan data, an existing part or an initial concept. Include the intended use, expected quantity, key requirements and target timing where available.

Yes. We manufacture project-specific composite or aluminum molds for carbon fiber component production. The tooling approach depends on the part geometry, surface requirements and planned production quantity.

We consider industrial prototypes, small batches and repeat production. Suitability depends on the technical requirements and the tooling and manufacturing work involved, rather than quantity alone.
